What length pushrod checker do I need to buy?

Gen VI 454, Crane tall body lifters, 781 heads (rebuilt with Ferrea valves that might be longer than stock). What length pushrod checker do I need to purchase so I find my correct pushrod length? Do I need one checker for exhaust and one for intake or will there be one length checker that will work?

Your pushrod lengths will be around the 7.550 and 8.550 range, probably exactly. If you can find a set of 454/502HO take-outs, the'll be real close to what you need.
