I'm building a 402 w/ 100cc 2.06/1.72 heads, RPM AirGap, a COMP XE268 cam, Hoilley 650 vac secondaries, and TRW 9.6:1 pistons. MSD 6AL will be firing the plugs. It's a good deal more cam than the stock L34, but less compression, and I still have bathtub chambers. What do you all think?

I got 4:10's in the back and an M21 4 speed. Car is 71 SS.

Seth,sorry I mixed your combo up with another fellow TCer from CT with a 66 SS396/3 speed stick

4.10 is really too much gear IMHO and experience.
3.73's would be the most I would run,unless your cam is in the 240ish+ range @ .050

Yeah, duration is .224. You kinda confirmed my suspicion. The motor is gonna go before the gears because I have 540+ aspirations. At any rate, I was guessing around 370HP @ 5600ish...does that sound about right?
