I have a 4-speed muncie at home but i dont know what it came in. I know is that the (gar 4 the?) speedometer is on the passenger side and on my friend has his on the driver side . Any info would help.

You need to get the casting #'s and count the rings on the input shaft. Heres a link that will help. Click

Wow There are some numbers, some cast and some stamped in the main case, those would be real nice to have.
