Found this data tag under a bucket seat on a 65 Chevelle. The seats are 1965 style, but not original to the car.

Is this just a tag to ID the seats themselves?

Obviously I'm not familiar with build sheets....

I never seen or heard of an interior I.D. sheet.
I found a carpet i.d. sheet in my last Chevelle though.

These cards are found in the seats of 67 and prior cars built at the Baltimore plant and some of the others that did not put the option codes on the trim tag on the firewall. There is usually one in each seat. The "Group" boxes contain the same body option codes that would be on the bottom of the trim tag of an Atlanta built car for example.

The 10537 style # is a Corvair Monza Coupe, 65-69. Since this was in a 65 style bucket seat, then presumably it is from a 65 Corvair.

I can't find a table of 65 Corvair trim codes, but did find 798 in the 65 Corvair interior paint mix code table, and it shows as using black interior paint. So the seats would have been either be black or white. The B after the 798 means bucket seats.

I love the knowledge resources here. Jeff is correct, as these seats are white and I'm pretty confident they are original.

Thank you all!
