gas port pistons, 800 lift. not a street engine, even in this day and age where the definition of street engine has been stretched so far it barely means anything.

Thanks for replies !
Maybe combo one is the best for street use, but do you think about quality and strength
what combo give me most for the money ?
For example:
Dart big m vs GM mark VI
Brodix bb 2 vs. brodix bb 3
Eagle crank vs. Lunati kryptonite

I think a engine like this is more expensive here in Sweden , but how much can you pay in the USA for engines like this , both are new rebuilt with new parts ??

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dart, BB3, Lunati better, but are you willing the change the valve springs and pistons/rings every 50Km of driving? that's not very far.

I think the "GM MK IV" block is a Bow Tie block at that bore size. Which means it is a specialty block like the Dart. The Dart has more material, and is heavier.

What do you think about a vacuum pump is it something to spend money on ?
More suggestions about the engines would be very appreciated !

I hate gear drives on a street car.

How much compression do these things have? You don't see a lot of pump gas pistons with gas ports?

I wouldn't be scared of the Bowtie Block at all..they were good. But if I had choices I'd take #1 with the heads from #2 and a different cam.

And does #1 have an adapter to put a Dominator on the Vic Jr intake?

And no gear drive either.

Hello again
Yesterday I test the car with engine #2 (555) is in a fullsteel le mans -72 and without gas It runs 1/8 mile 6.40 and 104 mph and with 225 hp nitrous it runs 6.04 and 112 mph but the transmission (th 400 ) couldn´t handle the power.
Ok that gives me some headache what engine I gonna buy ,the engine #2 have about 12 in compression and runs on pumpgas (in Sweden)
Suggestions please !
