I just picked up a driveshaft for my 700r-4 conversion.
I believe it was for a smallblock car, because there is no tapper on one end and has a 350 yoke on it.
My question is, will this DS be ok with a bigblock?

Yes it will be fine. I have my stock driveshaft in my Chevelle, and I am running a 427 around 500 hp, running high 11's in the 1/4 mile, and its fine.

I started with a 307- and a ten bolt in my Sta. Wgn. Now 468 B.B. 700R4---12 bolt rear and the 307 drive shaft. The 307 driveshaft has been behind a 396-454-and now a 468.
The 700R4 and the 307 D-Shaft have been working fine since 2002 ! Dont worry Be happy !
