I went to buy another part from this lady today and she showed me this in the garage: Click Here The vehicle is very clean. I didn't get to hear it run, but I wish my engine bay looked that nice.

Well, Good luck with the 28. I do like the car but I would ditch the rear lid stripes. That's just kinda odd looking. Nice cruiser in town, that is up to about 40mph. I like the interior and the paint looks nice.

I think a couple of people have missed the fact that it has a 700R4 in it - makes it good for cruising, even with the 4.11 gears.

I think it's very nicely done just the way it is...did a very good job of giving it a "factory" look under the hood....wagons appeal to a certain crowd...to the right person I can see 20+....

Doesn't say whether 10- or 12-bolt but with a 454 wagon, I'd hope for a 12-bolt. I know 4.11:1 ratios are available in the aftermarket but I wonder how many folks like this really have 4.11:1 gears - or just say so because it rolls off the tongue nicely. $29 in the car doesn't mean a good ROI but it is different and should appeal to certain buyers.

Cool car, and the 4.10 gear is just about perfect with the 700R-4. Final drive is OK, but first gear is too low and almost useless. Might be OK with the extra weight of a Wagon though. Final drive ratio would be a 2.87:1 in overdrive.

I'd change the console to a stock one and paint the tailgate like an El Camino SS (and add the trim). Other than that, it looks really well done.

Price is going to be tough to get for a 2-headlight wagon though. I think 19-21k would be more realistic.

That's kinda where I'm at. They didn't make that $2500 push for round face guages. And the rear is still in question. For $20k plus, I would have to see working Cowl Induction too, not a truck air cleaner.

Probably the air cleaner that came with the motor.....

There was a local guy here a few years ago that did a true 69 RoadRunner wagon. 383, Pistil Grip, 8 34/4 rear, working Air Grabber. The right wheels, the right buckets, the right dash. He got $38k for that car at Mecum two years ago. Point? The build quality was fantastic, and it was 100% true to what the theme of the car was.
