Recently went to put new carpet in what i thought was a nice solid car. Dug into it and now its going to need new cowl under the winshield, shoulder supports, floor needs replacing front half for sure but will probaly end doing whole thing. Am I better off looking for a rust free donor or to replace what need replacing? Are the 70-72 shells interchangable? Any input would be greatly appreciated

Sory, here in the Northwest we just don't see rust like that very often. I say find a donor, or come out west for your next Chevelle. Here's a few,,,,,

Wow that's amazing. I could look an Craigs list for weeks here in the midwest and never find 4 chevelles. Even if I did they would be 75% rust and the price would be the same

Glad to help. There is a few here in Portland also, check Craigs throughout California, Texas, NM, AZ etc, there are many at decent prices.

Post some pictures so we can see the extent of the rust damage. You may be only looking at surface rust.
