I was running the AR3924's also (as spec'd by Dart). I was just on the threshold of detonation in hotter temps. Just swapped to the AP3923 (gapped at .040 - I think). One heat range cooler and a platinum tip. Fires up almost instantly and seems to run a little smoother.
whats your compression?

10.2/1 Should clarify this. I am running about 28-30* initial / 38* total. Have a 8* vac adv can. Motor was pinging on 92 octane with at lite throttle/high vac with the vac advance connected. There was notably less pinging with the AP3923 plugs (even though it did still ping). Currently have the vac advance disconnected. Timing comes in fast, so with the 3000 converter, figure the motor pretty much sees 38* timing at anything above idle. I think the thing with plugs is, if the ring seal is really good and the carb is set up correct, you shouldn't need as hot a plug. Dart only lists a 3933 for racing. Look at the Autolite site, the 3933 is significantly lower heat range than a 3923 or 3924.

I am running a 12 bolt with 3.31's and my converter is a 10 inch that only comes in at about 2500 so I think my 60 foot times will leave a little on the table. I also don't really want to go faster than 11.50 because of all the safety mandates once you go that low. Don't want a cage, too hard to get the kids in/out of the back. My baby girl wants to take the Chebelle when it's raining and snowing and gets pissed when I don't. I will post numbers next weekend.

Looks real good, love the six pack. quick question on your torq. At 4600rpm made 532# and dipped then climbed to peak 543# at 5500rpm. What would cause it to dip?
