hi i want to run weld drag-lites on my 65 velle. a buddy of mine lent me his wheel 15/8 with 5.5 back spacing and the wheel rubs aginst the shock eyelet. wonder if i shim it out if that would be ok or should i move that shock mount on the rear-end .has anybody else had this problem before ? thanks scott

Have you tried a 1/4" disc brake spacer behind the wheels?
That problem is common with 15" and smaller diameter wheels.
