I have a 454 BB with a Weiland intake cast manifold. It has no port for an oil sending unit.
By the oil filter is a plug, I believe it is an oil port. Can it be used for the sending unit for an electric oil gage ?
Any other oil ports ?
I am going to buy an Autometer remote 3" kit to mount the sending unit away from the port as the headers don't allow for the sending unit's size.
Thanks.

there would not be an oil pressure port on an intake manifold on any Chevy. Not sure what you are trying to get across here.

Besides the one above the oil filter there's 4 oil galley plugs along the bottom of the block on the drivers side, one on the front right around the corner. If these have never been out they may/will be hard to get out.
