Will a small block water pump pulley work on a big block? When comparing the sb pulley to the bb pulley on the car all seems to be similar. I would just like to know before I go and swap them and find out it doesn't work. Thanks for any help.

Some will, depending on if it is for a long pump or short pump. There are two different bolt circles, but most aftermarket pumps have the dual pattern. Your fan clutch will have to match the bolt pattern though.

Thanks Wooderson. Let me know when the next beer bust is going to happen at the moon tower.

I swapped a my small block for a 396 and reused the same water pump pulley. The crank pulley has three grooves.(only because it was cheaper than the two groove)

Patience, patience, fiesta in the making as we speak.
One other thing to look for is that some pulleys have a 5/8 center hole and some have a 3/4 hole. I believe it was some Vettes in the '70s that had the 3/4 hole. Something to keep in mind.
