Have a '65 with Global West control arms & QA-1 adjustable coil overs with their 550# springs.
Hoping for a slight nose-up stance, period-correct
old-school style. Not straight-axle high, just a barely detectable chin-up.
(Cannot accomplish this w/the QA-1 adj. shocks. The suspension works best w/the shocks adjusted @ 50% of their up/down range, and on 3rd click.)
Guys of that era used aftermarket aluminum twist-in spacers between the rungs/coils of the springs, and/or taller springs.
(One GTO had 12 of the twist-in spacers on each side in front, with Ford Country Squire station-wagon rear springs in back!)
What option is there to accomplish this stance in 2011, with the aforementioned front suspension?
