Anxiously await my Currectrac rear arms--have been now for about 3+ weeks. Wouldn't be so bad but car was disassembled in anticipation of a quick delivery. Mark @ SCandC said they were backlogged due to development issues. Any others waiting on delivery?

There are quite a few folks waiting but the wait should be just about over. They introduced a new applicaion (G Body, aluminum lowers) into the line and it put the A body ones behind a few weeks. They should be back from anodizing by now and getting their final detail machining then they`ll be ready to go. Hopefully by the end of the week according to my friends at Currie. Mark SC&C

'tis the season for back-orders... everything seems to be back-ordered every spring when people are getting their cars back together (and want the parts ASAP)

I talked to Currie again yesterday and they started shipping backorders earlier this week. They had good reasons to be behind and nothing really their fault, just "stuff happens" kinda things, several at the same time. Eveythings cool now though and the process has really increased their manufacturing capability for these arms so they`ve got LOTS in stock now and the ability to crank a more out really fast and cut down on this sort of thing in the future.

As an aside ATS has tons of AFX aluminum spindles and A body steering arms. Delphi (GM OE supplier) is screwing everyone over on hub/bearing packs. Nothing ATS or I can do about that. We`re expecting Delphi to be back online with production in about 60 days. In the mean time we`re doing our best to help out and AFX packages are still shipping but we can only ship them as fast as we can find good quality US bearing packs. We can get all the cheapo ChiCom bearings we want but we won`t compromise on quality. It`s well worth the wait to get the good stuff. Mark SC&C
