thanks for the offer. a friend had posted it and i happened to see it on some of his links. any way to do it from his links? or do i need to get him to send me the file? like i said, i'm not very computer savy. BTW, combo is 383 lt1 efi with ported factory heads with stock 1.94x1.50 valves, factory lt1 intake (i ported at home), comp 292xfi hydr. roller, 58mm T/B, 36 lb inj's., stock maf, 1 5/8 longtube headers, mezeire electric w/p, forged speedpro flat tops, forged rods, scat cast crank, th/350 with 3500 conv., 3.55 gears and 200 shot drykit (dual stage...100hp on W.O.T., and 100hp on a button about 40-50ft out). full factory interior (bench seat) 3620 lbs race weight.you must be a member of facebook to see it.
great run. whats the combo?
you can create a photobucket account, and upload it there, thats way everyone can view it. how you can email me the file, and i will host it on my photobucket for you.
yes, i'm still running an opti. a friend of mine ported my heads. they managed [email protected]. they have very good low and mid lift #'s for a stock castings/stock valves. i believe my cam spec's out at 242/248 @ .050 with 584/579 with 1.6 rockers and 113 lsa. BTW, if you have a miss since your opti install, check your plug wires on the pass. side. its very common for them to be cut by the serp. belt.very nice combo.
who did the heads? lloyd elliot or advanced induction?
i wish my lt1 didnt have 207k miles on it, and a stupid miss i cant diagnose (after i installed a new opti 3k miles ago).
you running an opti or a regular dizzy?
Here's your video for others to enjoy.hopefully this link will work. found it on a friends facebook site. this is this past sunday. 6.32 in the 8th mile. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/video/video.php?v=102783993071465
im going to check it over more later this week.i'd guess plug wire. either from the serp. belt cutting it or being burned or cracked. headers or manifolds? if headers, it would be easy to check the heat from each individual cylinder to find the problem. i've changed opti's for alot of customers. i've seen them do many different things when going bad. from seldom misfires to dead miss on one or more cylinders to running fine and quit all at once. i raced a 93 t/a for years and got tired of working on it/them. i swapped the engine in my chevelle and love it. although its a little slower. very easy to work on. i also swapped an lt1 in my 89 silverado p/u. and i'm currently doing an lt1 install in my 67 chevy II.
thanks for posting. BTW, it has a th/350 auto. Here's your video for others to enjoy.
