thanks for the offer. a friend had posted it and i happened to see it on some of his links. any way to do it from his links? or do i need to get him to send me the file? like i said, i'm not very computer savy. It looks like from your signature video you need an anti roll bar if you have not already put one on. Nice times...

i wish my lt1 didnt have 207k miles on it, and a stupid miss i cant diagnose (after i installed a new opti 3k miles ago).

yes, it needs a rear sway bar or an anti rollbar. it was almost undriveable on the spray with the 383, till i added some airbags. it made a world of difference. i'm running 25lbs. r/r and 5lbs left. BTW, in the sig. video i'm running a 152k stock lt1 with ported heads and 1.6 rockers, boltons and 225 shot with factory 8.2 10 bolt and 3.08s. no airbags at that time.

yes, i'm still running an opti. a friend of mine ported my heads. they managed [email protected]. they have very good low and mid lift #'s for a stock castings/stock valves. i believe my cam spec's out at 242/248 @ .050 with 584/579 with 1.6 rockers and 113 lsa. BTW, if you have a miss since your opti install, check your plug wires on the pass. side. its very common for them to be cut by the serp. belt.

very nice
a friend built a stock bottom end lt1 for his formula, had an ed curtis 24x cam in it, stock heads and intake 52mm tb, LT's, tune, valve springs, and no air box it made 375whp through a yank 4k converter.
then it kicked a rod.. damn 2 bolt mains.

it ran fine, went into a store, came out, fired it up, started missing.

im going to dig into it more. i love the car, but its becoming a night mare.

that motor has taken a beating so hard, im surprised its lasted over 200,000 miles.

i'd guess plug wire. either from the serp. belt cutting it or being burned or cracked. headers or manifolds? if headers, it would be easy to check the heat from each individual cylinder to find the problem. i've changed opti's for alot of customers. i've seen them do many different things when going bad. from seldom misfires to dead miss on one or more cylinders to running fine and quit all at once. i raced a 93 t/a for years and got tired of working on it/them. i swapped the engine in my chevelle and love it. although its a little slower. very easy to work on. i also swapped an lt1 in my 89 silverado p/u. and i'm currently doing an lt1 install in my 67 chevy II.

im going to check it over more later this week.
what i find funny is there is to DTC set at all. and that was verified with TTS datamaster and Freescan.
stock manifolds.
my other opti was stock 200k miles, and finally crapped out with the occasional no start. this car fires up every time, but has a miss under load. while driving it will sometimes clear up for 2-3 sec, and then miss and shutter.

i was going to check the injectors also. the motor is completely stock minus your common bolt ones, w/p, opti, and head gaskets.

this motor would be much more fun in something that you can actually see it in..

thanks man.
