Check the bolts that hold the shifter tower to the bracket on the trans,it sounds like they may be loose.Or the shifter tower itself could be loose.

I would check the driveshaft and U joints to see if something is loose causing the vibration.

Mine did it since the day I bought it. I've changed back to rubber trans mount, replaced u-joints and had the driveshaft balanced. Still does it. Next step for me is changing the linkage bushings to the nylon ones. I think it will still vibrate but the noise wont be as bad.

Vibrations are caused by imbalance not worn bushings. Rubber bushings dampen vibrations.

Bad bearings, u joints (as mentioned), drive shaft, flywheel, clutch, tires, steering alignment?

do you feel it in your steering wheel too?

can you feel it through your clutch pedal when you push it in but before the clutch is released?
