I am going to switch out my 062's for the Bowtie Vortec and I have 6 people that want them real bad which surprises me as they are not a super killer head or anything. I bowl ported them and added some epoxy to some areas, new valves, chamber work springs and retainers. They have 25 passes on them and the 406 ran the best of 10.92 with them. What should I ask for these heads? I just sold a set of "stock" truck heads that has a fresh valve job for $400 so these have to be worth a little more than those.

I am going to guess that those 6 people want the heads because of you not the heads. I am sure they know how fast you went with it and that is what matters. Just a guess of course.

$750 - $1000 seems like a fair price.

With good springs and rocker arms....and a great time slip.....the heads are worth a grand.
