Can a two wire starter (no yellow power wire hook-up) be used in a 69 Chevelle with an MSD ignition?

No wiring diagrams in front of me to look at to verify colors, but since the MSD doesn't (shouldn't) require a hookup to the starter, you've just got two wires you need down there anyway - the main cable from the battery, and something to signal the starter to start the car (I thought that one was purple, but like I said, I have no reference here at work).. so you betcha, unless your MSD is not set up like mine.
