When did the originals come out? The one I have I bought in 1976 and it has oblong mounting holes.

This thread has made me think of a whole new idea for another forum.

Why don't we have a forum to share pictures of rare parts and memorabilia !
Wouldn't that be educational. Everyone can post pictures of super rare Chevelle stuff. I think this would be so cool. Many of these things you never see. Prob be tough to do without turning into a for sale forum. But it sure would be neat to see an online Chevelle museum of rare parts and memorabilia.

I've also been thinking it would be neat to have a "mystery part of the week" game.

I think they were sold at the dealer parts counter
I bought this one from Motion Performance and Joel Rosen signed it for me.
He said it was hanging in the Motion shop from the 70s
