Curious about the SS badge on my 72 chevelle's bumper. Which way is up? Is there a rule of thumb for this I think mine is upside down but im not sure.

A true 'SS' bumper has 3 holes in it. 2 mount holes and one guide pin hole but if you look at the emblem you'll see a slightly smaller arcs to the SS. The smaller arc should be at the top.

It might be easier to give the proper location of the third guide pin in case someone is using a repop bumper. Is it left, right, up or down from center?

I had a feeling it didn't look right, it was upside down. the previous owner did install an aftermarket bumper. I guess I will be flipping it around.
