I'm looking to upgrade my Alternator, i have the original one with this connection, i'm looking at buying a 100 Amp chrome one but i heard there are different connections, what will i need?

I think you are going from an external voltage regulator to a high output 100 amp internal voltage regulator. I have done this on three cars. You can purchase a wiring kit at most of the vendors for $20 that will do it for you or you can go to NAPA and get the connection for your new alt, and change it out for the plug in your factory wiring harness. Make sure you get the correct kit or plug for your alt, there are two applications. Lastly, you must disconnect your harness at the external voltage regular at the rad. support. The kit has a rubber plug for the wiring harness at the voltage regulator. Jerry
