I keep blowing fuses for taillights the instant I touch brakes. I disconnected the flat wire that runs to back, replaced fuse, and touched brake pedal. It still instantly blew the fuse. The hazard lights also blow the instant I turn them on. Could these be related, or just a coincidence? I did have steering wheel off while repainting.
HELP PLEASE

I totally agree with the ford thing-- Chevy rules. I want to thank you guys on this forum. You have all been helpful. The short was in the wire just beneath turn signal switch, must have pinched it when putting it all back together.
Heading for the car show this weekend, unfortunately with a for sale sign. Daughter headed for college.
