Greetings all!
I have the TH400 out of the car (finally), and am starting to check it out.
Question #1: Is the torque converter supposed to "rattle?" I mean, when I shake it the inner components seem loose - they don't make noise, but they seem looser than I would expect, not that I know anything about them.
Question #2: Is this right?
There are two places where the pin on the shifter detent can go, and the pin is installed in the last one. What happens if it is installed in the other one?
Remember that my problem is no power and puking transmission fluid out the filler tube when it finally shifts to 3rd (if it does)...
Thanks.
