The 283 327 small block with single or twin turbo's sounds like fun galore. I have one question. How in the heck does one plumb a single or twin turbo to the carb? Looking at the Vortec brand turbo setup the carb looks like it sits in a presurized bonnet or hood. Does anyone know how to do the job of plumbing and what it takes materials wise to get the boost from the turbos to the engine? The rest of the engine mods etc is pretty much cut and dried. Turbo cam, forged pistons , healthy rods and crank plus pleanty of good bolts. This looks more interesting that following the crowd to the 383 circus.

Also where would one get the exhaust manifolds, or headers for the turbo application
You can spend big bucks and go with Banks cast iron. Or swap sides of your exhaust manifold so they are facing forword. Or you can build a set of custom headers out of mild steel or 321 stainless.
