I’m trying to install an internally regulated alternator that I got from Summit. The Alt looks like a bolt in except for the spacer. The long flange off the spacer that bolts to the back of the alternator is too short for the Summit alt.? Is this normal and the spacer has to be modified or did I get the wrong alternator. Basically, should a type 10 internal alt bolt right in?
