Hello,
First off I don't own a Chevelle but my car is pretty much one. It is a 1967 Buick GS400 convertible.
My car has just gotten back from paint and I am installing all the trim again. The problem I am having is that the trim around the door in the door jams has a wierd tar soaked sealant (I guess) tape between the pieces of molding. It also has this dried out white putty type stuff on some of the molding. What is this stuff called and where can I get this stuff? Also is it really needed?
Now also is there a better way to mount the front windshield, like the black molding they use on new cars?

Thank you

Michael:confused:

Find a Glass Doctor in your area, I did a chrome delete on my front and rear glass, and the guys were able to fix me up with some trim. I'd send pics but I just got out of paint too and have yet to get back to them to get it finished up.
