Not sure how I am going to do mine yet untill I dig in to it. I will probably mount the factory center console I got first. I will then mark my cut line below that and raise the whole hump.
Watch my build thread. I will document whatever I do.

This has been flogged over and over. I feel that the entire area around the trans needs to be removed, rebuilt and fitted. Another area that is a problem is where the rear of the trans / tail shaft and the original front floor brace all meet. Its very close and sometimes especially on lowered cars will have a problem if you need to raise the rear of the trans for correct drive line angles the brace is in the way. Even more of a problem if you are using a 4" drive shaft. Also you want to be able to remove the shifter while its in the car as well as remove the trans while it in the car.
Just a thought.
