The 200 is pretty much a "drop in" since it is the same size but the 700 requires shortening the drive shaft 3" and moving the cross member back which changes the length of the park brake cable.

Hey guys had a question
Thinking about picking up a 72 Chevelle Malibu. Has a 383 stroker, Turbo 350 non overdrive transmission, with 4.11 gears. Cruise RPM is crazy high.
If I purchased a 200R or 700R4 (both with overdrive) to drop the cruise RPMs would it be just a simple swap or would any modifications have to be down?
