I have a 69 Chevelle SS and like many, it does not have a 396 in it. It has a 454. It needs a fair amount of work and i don't have any information on the transmission other than a couple of pics of the plate on the transmission. Can anyone help me out.

It is a TH-400.

241- 241st from January 1st, 1967.

10382- Transmission Serial Number

This 1968 model [CA] TH-400 transmission, originally came behind a 396 Chevrolet engine.
