I know it's been said a million time. I want to thank everyone who belong to this great site. I got a '72 Trans-Am 1 1/4" sway bar from the junk yard and put it on this past weekend. Like you said the cornering is just unbeleivable. It handles like a new car period.
Thanks,
Stan

I have the 1 1/4" front and the 1" rear. the greatest feeling is going into a 35 mph turn at 60 and the car stays level. My tires do give a little, maybe its time to retire the 14" ralleys?

One inch is all I know about. Your GM dealer should have one somewhere around $70.00

You have not seen a rear sway bar until you see the one that HO Racing use to sell, it's a monster. I don't know what the diameter is but it's has to at least 1.5 inches.

Moroso/Herb Adams sells a 1-1/2" bar, I have them on both my Chevelles.

The GM F41 rear bar is 7/8" and you can get on shipped to your door for $64 here

Do a search for the part number in Suspension & Brakes forum.
