To start off with i added a nitrous kit to my car with a 175 hp pill. I Was really nervous not knowing how the car was going to respond and the track was slick. So i get up to stage and put on both lights and then some.So i backed back up and by then the other car was gone so i finally floored it but did'nt feel the nitrous hit very hard but felt it pick up speed as i got closer to the end of the run.Let off the gas and it dies.Had to get a jump to get it back to the trl,which i shut it off car was dead.So i put it on charge for a while and everything seemed ok but it was not.Three more jumps by the time i got to the burn out box and it dies again so i gave up and got it back to the trl where i checked the alt which was only putting out 8 volts.With all that said it still ran a 6.606 at 108.68 in the 1/8 and a 10.246 at132.66 in the 1/4
The 60 ft was terrible but that was my fault by messing up and leaving at 0 rpms.I see 9's next year for sure.Thanks,BILL

Bummer that the alternator let you down - but at the same time its good that it was only an alternator problem!

Without a doubt you will see 9's. One of my longer term goals is to get what I have all dialed in and running like it should for the 564 rwhp it now puts out (suspension and chassis setup have my near term attention, it currently 60's in the 1.7x range) - and then juice it into the 9's.
