Ive allready bought a summit 2200 stall,a friend says I need one,but what do you all think.I would like it to launch good, but really dont know if its too much with this set-up
also ,a shift kit, looks easy,is it really that easy. What do you think.
Thanks again
Rick

Here's my 02 cents. Call ATI, (best converter!), tell them what you have and they will set you up with the perfect converter for your application. Only cost me $370.00. A little more than some others, but the quality is worth it........bk

No, you don't NEED the converter...I ran a much larger cam on a stock converter.........

BUT....You'll love the way it launches with a higher stall.

If it was me, I would definetely run it!

If you've already got the 2,200 stall convertor I'd use it. You could use a stock convertor, but a 2,200 stall is not much and it would work good especially in a daily driver.
I agree with 69 ElcoBear. Save your money and use what you've got unless your going racing.

That 2200 actually sounds like a good choice for your set up, IMO. It should perform like a stock one during normal driving and give a pretty good launch too.
