I know the Torque Thrusts are everywhere..maybe it is just me but 17" TT just flat out work on a 70 Chevelle.

Pats OP 17TT look great. For me going from 14 to 15 was a big jump lol. And like most people we just played with tire profile to fill wheel wells as we liked. Now with these bigger 18 with low profile tires and such moves the rim closer to the edge of the fender giving the impression that the stance has been lowered. Im starting to like the 17 a little more but would still want a little more profile. Not sure what size tires are on Pats picture would like to know. And how ride compares to like regular 235/70r15 type tires.
Aren't 17" tire sizes limited? I think that's a common complaint, but I wouldn't know from experience.
I’ve never had an issue getting the 17” sizes I wanted. But for Chevelles, unless your mini-tubbed, there are really only a few sizes to go with anyway.
I went with 18's over 17's for the tire choices.
17”x 9.5” on the rear and 17”x8” on the front of my 68

Huh? Wheel diameter has nothing to do with it fitting unless you're planning on throwing on some 24's. It's the wheel width to some extent but really is all about the size of the tire. Larger wheel diameter just means you need a shorter sidewall, that's it.

Huh? My comment was about tires, in response to a comment about tires, not wheels
Ken holly crap… that is one bad ass 70 sir. 😳 if it wasn’t for the Nissan in the back ground I’d make that my screen saver 🤓👍🏼
