Torq Thrust..overdone but just work!

Wish tbis one was mine...just getting ready to start my next 70 and getting ideas together. My first 70 i had in the mid 80s was black cherry like the one pictured..it is one the short list of colors as are those wheels or just the stock SS wheels.

Boyd Coddingtons look good also. I think they only make the junkyard dogs now. Im not sure if they still do custom offsets anymore but they used to which is nice.

I'm totally biased....but I think these are the best wheels for 64-72 A Bodies. They've been around this long for a reason, me thinks.

I agree, 17 " Five spokes like TorqueThrust, Coys, Coodington and many other similar wheels with black walls tires, are the Cragar SS/RWL of todays wheels. Cragars and RWL's still have their place if 15's are needed but for the most part a thing of the past...Chrome 17" five spokes/black walls are the perfrect all around
combo it seems on 70-72 A-bodies in general. Not quite so much '69 an earlier though......

I actually think 17s front and 18s rear is the right balance. I8s are a little too large up front and 17s are a little too small out back. I went with 18s up front just in case I decide to add larger/better calipers in the future.

I'll be the one to buck the trend & vote for these instead of the TT2s.

TT2s or some copy of them come stock on factory Mustangs...overdone doesn't begin to describe these wheels at this point.

Good idea, and thanks for the compliment. That then would be an early morning sunrise photo. That Firemist Red(Mercedes) is a little bright in the direct sun, but in the shade it's just right. That spot with the green background and the red car (think Christmas colors) is pretty hard to beat. Even the dirt road adds too it.

Those look like the 17 inch version of the 69 SS wheels from ground up and almost all the REPRO houses too.

Aren't 17" tire sizes limited? I think that's a common complaint, but I wouldn't know from experience.
