Anybody know what these seat came from?

They are for sure "A body" 69-72. Not really important to know since they are getting recovered. Just curious. Also, there was a bunch of cotton padding inside the bottom seat cover that stuck to the foam buns. Did Chevelles get all this padding, or just the cover over the foam? If they are supposed to get it.....where have you guys found to buy it? Don't see it in any of my catalogs.

Thanks Ben. Knew you were a seat guy.
Any idea about all that cotton padding I found in there? Wonder if this was an Oldsmobile "luxury" feature?

Can't tell from the pic if there are buttons.. if so .. 71-2 monte carlo

Seats are assembled in this manner:

Springs
Burlap
Foam
Cotton padding
Covers

The padding was not an extra item. It is used to smooth out everything. You can get it from most fabric / upholstery shops. As with anything they sell it in grades. The higher the weight the better.

No buttons, Jody. Think Ben's correct. The guy I bought them from "thought" they were Olds or Pontiac. Thanks for the info on the padding. I'll check around for a local source.
