Would you recommend it for 50-60 mile highway tows? Open car trailer with a 3700 pound car on it, btw. I'm talking 6 inch lift with 35s. Are you using a 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton? TIA.

Towing with a lift is a bad idea. I don't remember what source I read it in, but each inch of lift lessens your towing capacity by some percentage. Although, any half ton SHOULD be able to handle 3700 pounds. 6" of lift is for muddin', not for towin'.

see it all the time... just get a drop hitch for the receiver that keeps the trailer level and make sure the trailer brakes work. drive a little slower and look a little farther ahead than normal..

duramax 2500 33s pulls our enclosed I would say yours should, def have a e brakes though just in case. Wouldnt want the tail to wag your truck a shear off your leafs or anything like that.
