I think I know the answer to this already, but would like to see some real-world testing. I'm wondering if my BB (see sig) could pull it, I usually drive about 70+mph on the highway, but I do (did) drive around in 4th all the time around town w/my M20. The old cam was alot milder though.

You have 3.73's though, which would help me out immensly.

At 70, the .64 would place my rpm's at 1782. I dont know of this 231/239 Voodoo HR would protest or not.

Maybe should just bite the bullet and get the .64 and then go to something like 3.73-4.11's.

you will by much happier with either lower rear gears or the .82 od I originally had 3.23's with my tko and the rpms were real low on the highway and would lug the engine with anymore then 1/3 throttle and if traffic slowed down any I would have to downshift to 4th,

I feel that the 3.70's that i have now are perfect it is at 2000rpm at 70mph and only 2500rpm crusing at 90mph.

I say try it and see if you need to change your rear gears, every car is different and your hyd roller should behave really well in a 454

I would diff. go with the .64OD. The 4:11s work good with a 28 or even better with a 30" tire.
