We have a 1970 Chevelle tilt column in our new (old) 64 suburban we just bought and i wanted to start replacing the turn signal cam/stop Tilt handle. I got the wheel off like in my 68 (non tilt) but there is a plate that covers all of the insides. Anyone know how to get this off or if i can take it somewhere to get it taken off? I would prefer to take it off myself since i will not be removing the column from the vehicle.
