What is happening to this site !!!! I posted a topic in Performance section about
'trailer tires" ......... then its moved to shop and tools ????
Performance is where alot of us hang out who trailer our cars ............the thread is about tire performance ................ do you move threads about race tire performance to shop and tools ??

Not sure who this site is for the folks who support it and frequent it to learn and or pass along good info about our hobby .........I dont get it .......what exactly was wrong with posting that topic in Perfomance where the audience with the good feedback is ??

maybe Tom is thinking "threads ABOUT performance", not threads posted where the poster thinks more people will see it but they have nothing to do with that forum.

I'm suprised it lasted that long in the performance section. Go to other sites and it's moved before you hit submit. The Mods on this site are pretty good at letting the members police themselves. Love this place:thumbsup:

It really does not belong in performance. there are lots of us with trailers that do not frequent the Performance section.
Where would you like it to be Bill? Do not choose Performance. IMO it needs to be in "Misc (NON CHEVELLE AUTOMOTIVE TECH)".
If that is good with you it can be moved there.

Perf is not a catch-all and won't be turning into a catch-all. Maybe I should move it back and while at it I can move back the performance angel-eyes headlights, the performance floor mats, the performance wiper blades, the performance whatever it is today. In fact, per a few of the members, maybe we should just eliminate all the sections and just dump everything into perf, one giant free-for-all.

I have ran into similar issues with posts. Let's face it, a lot of us in performance do similiar modifications or have similar questions, so we post it in performance. Then it's moved to the "brake section" where it gets two views in a week. It's a little frustrating to say the least - be happy the board is getting activity and quit being so nit picky on where the threads fall. It will be OK.
