Wether its a roots, or belt driven at what point was the power tough to put down
meaning if you really nailed it the car just spun? Curious
Impressed with the numbers some of you get...love the roots just for eye appeal and the whipples look interesting.
No i cant do anything at this point just daydreaming .

Alwhite, still no car (thats running) in the house been 8 months now.
Turned it over to Department of Insurance hopefully they help.
If it werent for bad luck then,...lol

Dont know on the whipple. Bet Mercury Marine might know?

On the street hooking up is much more difficult than on the prepped track.
Fox body Mustang Cammed 5.3 LS 600 wheel HP TH 400 and 3.23 rear gears.

275-60-15 Drag radials 9.1 ET at the track and FORGET ABOUT IT on the street.

In 3rd gear no kickdown rolling at 35 MPH nail the throttle and instant spin, a 14 second car would kill it on the street.
It was procharged with 10PSI.

Have no desire for a 9 second car..Im a test limits guy and we all know where that heads to.
Never been down the track so cant say what it would do now. If some $ fell into my lap would strongly consider either going for 100 more cubes or perhaps a 177 Weiand on this 383? Guessing Id need a different Sr cam, pistons and a rebalance.
That torque increase is what Id be after. Bud has a 70 Chevelle like DZAutos...cheapy cast 383 882 heads 144 B and M and a little 264 mega cam
3.08. First ride in a blown car (many yrs back). I was shocked how hard and long it pulled in 3rd gear never forgot it.
(he put M/T and 4.11 in it for the hell of it lately)
