Looking at the lakewood "traction action" lift bar kits (LAK-20188) since I think it was that BAD wheel hop that killed my old 10 Bolt. Do they Stop wheel hop compleatly?? Wondering if that lift action stuff really helps you launch faster/straighter...any Input?? BTW, How exactly do they mount??? If anyone has a pic of they're car with lift/traction bars..would like to see what the mounting looks like....Thanks for the help guys ;)

There are several ways your suspension can be changed for better launches. Sometimes it is as simple as having a set of fresh bushings. Many Chevelle wheelhop issues can be from excessive slop in the upper rear control arm bushings - this is a good place to start. You may have some incorrect angles in your suspension geometry. A big part of what determines the best answer for you is your actual power level. With stock and modest performance engines it is usually beneficial to changes the geometry to make the tires hit harder. As the power level rises it can be beneficial to soften the hit.

Read all of this: http://www.baselinesuspensions.com/ that should get you started.
