The 265 Magnum heads from AFR finally came in yesterday. I've had the 427 .070 block back from BES after being completely checked over to make sure things were done correctly. I didn't need anymore surprises after the fiasco I'd already been through with this engine. Now we'll get the heads bolted on and check for push-rod length and give Smith bros a call. Once the Push rods come in we can move forward and after 10 months the 66 will finally move under its own power.

That is the GM Bowtie oval port or roval intake, same as the RPM Performer but with the GM one you can use in on a Sq. port head as it covers the larger port up.

Heads are torqued. Measured for push rod length and as long as they arrive when they are supposed to. The 440 will be going home this weekend.

Hooker Competition. They were on the car before and they fit well. I just had them ceramic coated.
Would that be the Hooker 2455 headers? No issue with fitment or sparkplug access with the AFR heads?

I don’t know what the PN is. They were on the car when I bought it. I do know they are Hooker Competition Headers and they fit very well with the old OEM heads and I see no reason why they won’t do the same with the AFRs even with the raised exhaust ports.

Make sure they clear the arp bolts/washers some headers only clear oem bolts without washers.
