I like how you're the only one with your hood up, thats what I would do.

EXACTLY!
YES! Let her age gracefully. Exactly what I am doing. Paint is starting to get really thin in some areas. I have some rust bubbles appearing on lower door corners and on one, lower-rear quarter. I may get that patched but will primer and leave it. Like we all did in high school.

The older I get, the more I appreciate patina.
As my Rat Rod friends say, Rust is a Must.
The other local 66 Malibu. Nice 327 auto.

The longer one spends time in body shop prison, the more one appreciate patina. Especially on a well-maintained original car.
I don’t open my hood at shows even tho I have a clean engine compartment, you truly don’t see the cars true lines and how it looks in its natural state with the hood up in my opinion…

I feel the opposite way. I know what the body lines look like, and I get to admire them every time the car passes by.

At cruise night - I want to see what I can't see when the car is driving down the road.
You've got the best car in the bunch, IMO...especially like the fluid leak under the radiator!

We know what the body lines look like but most spectators at car shows don’t, they get to see it hood closed and they imagine it going down the street…
The fluid leak under the radiator is condensate from the ac.
