in argentina are some interesting projects ... here predominant culture of the old 6-cylinder in-line Ford 221, Chevy 250 and Dodge 225 slant-six.
The V8 did not have much acceptance, Ford only produced the Y-block 292, Dodge the modest 318 2-barrel and Chevrolet none.
In the last decade the ideas changed and the people change slowly to the culture MuscleCar, V8 engines are rescued from junkyards or from boats and with sacrifice do performance upgrade ... the buying-power for these places is very low, at the parts bought in USA it is necessary to add the shipping and the customs... (almost doubling the cost).

I think I have an advantage over the others ... I'm a ChevelleTech forum menber and have the advises of all you.

Yep....and Argentina isn't the only foreign country where Mike has customers in. Among those that do is also Sweden. And the Swedes are seriously into classic American muscle cars with BIG horsepower.
add Turkey to that list. My buddy has a 489 in a '73 camaro that has a bunch of parts from Mike in it. I am soon to get some more stuff from him for a twin turbo'd 502. Needless to say, these guys take this stuff kinda serious too.

so another prop for the wolfman here.

Wow Sean, I never even noticed that you're from Turkey. Nor did I know American muscle cars are popular over there also. That's so cool.:thumbsup: I guess that I'm so tired of hearing from our politically liberal news media over here in the USA, how that every country on the planet allegedly hates us so much. So I'm pleasantly surprised when I find out about other countries enjoying our so called politiclly "incorrect" muscle car and drag racing hobby.

From the things I've heard, I believe that Kuwait is another nation added to that list (although it may or may not be to a lesser extent than Turkey, and Sweden ).

well, actually, i am from good ol so-cal. but i live in Turkey for now(I am American in the USAF). been here about a year. if things go like i think they will, i am looking at about 3 more years here. But you would be surprised at the American Iron over here. My buddies downtown own a garage that gets plenty hotrods new and old as well as import stuff and some stuff you won't see in the states. check out http://project01.net for some pics and vid of the cars they own and work on. also check out this link: http://spotted.stripes.com/galleries/337473/ for some pics i have shot of stuff i see around town here. In fact, i just got some pics of a nice '53chevy that just got paint and was getting interior done. i have not posted those pics yet, but should have em up in a couple days.
