Couple of questions; on the trans lines, which port is the out and which one is the return. Im trying to hook up the external cooler.
Second, there is a vacuum port on the side and id like to know what this is for and what hooks up to it. I dont know anything about autos just yet, but i will after i get this one successfully operating, hopefully.

I don't believe it matters which line is in or out. Your just making a loop through the cooler (unless the cooler is marked in and out). The vacuum on the tranmisson is to the modulator which is part of making it shift.

I need to know the line flow so i can put my cooler after the radiator.
And where does that vacuum connect to? any port on the carb?
