TH400 cooler lines to radiator

Im putting my car back together after a motor swap and forgot which transmission cooler line on the radiator goes into which fitting on the transmission. Does it even matter?

Sir,

Upper to Upper. Lower to Lower.

Trans Upper is the return / in. (From top of Rad)
Trans Lower is the feed / out. (To bottom of Rad)
