What's a fair price on a TH350 shift kit installed? (Trans. in car) And what kit, one step up from stock? Thanks-

I just installed a newly modified valve body, complete w/Transgo shift kit into the TH400 in my '67 last Saturday.
Bought the complete VB ready to install from Jakeshoe. :thumbsup:
I had never did this before but with a few emails and great advice from Jake it was a success.
Did it with the tranny in the car and up on jack stands. A little messy from the tranny fluid but looking back a pretty straight forward job.
Very happy with the results...nice, firm shifts.
I had priced this job out to a couple local tranny shops. Just to install my supplied VB, I was quoted 2 hrs labor @ $85 per hr...plus fluids.

You can over drill two holes in the separater plate and pitch an accumulator spring for the econo route. If you're just doing an un-rebuilt trans it's ok....
