Has anyone ever thought of starting a buisiness with all the resourses we have here at TC? Maybe I'm letting my imagination run wild, but I think it would be a perfect opportunity for everyone here at TC to get involved.
I'm not a buisiness man AT ALL, but to think I could have part in a huge chevelle car and parts warehouse sounds exciting.

Now ya see 406 this is what I'm talking about. People coming forward and saying they would help out. If everybody did a little it wouldn't be so hard on a few.
There has to be TC members ot there with a dream like this and buisiness savy to organize and whatnot.

can i have my own office
. would it be new parts only or both. would this place have a shop to restor and hot rod chevelles. we as a colective could find and restore chevelles and sell them. we might not make a killer profit once everyone gets there cut but if enuff of us put in we could make it work. but dont know much about starting somthing like this. or how we would go about it legaly . so i gess first things first what are we going to have in this place then we can go from there

All right All right, now I got some of you a little interested.
I was thinking a little on the lines of we send in our parts at our cost. The parts are catagorized and put into a inventory. If your in the coop, and you need a part, you get a very good deal. If your not, like a body shop that needs that rare part they pay top dollar.
Ya, if you wanted to send your whole cherried-out chevelle to show and sell, so be it.
If everybody sent in their extra parts they wanted to sell could you imagine how big of a place and how organized it would have to be?
We ALL could probably work there!
BIGGEST Chevelle supply warehouse in the world. Yes, I can see it now!

how about this guys, considering the recent events and the people in need why dont we make a charity event?
We can divide TC up into 2 parts East and west coast those that decide to participate sign up and we'll cut the country down the middle. Each side will come up with the money to purchase a car and they will divide the costs of the car between them. Lets face it if there are 25-30 people involved per side and they find a car for 3000 bucks thats 100 dollars per person.

We all have extra parts and experience to build a car. Whether it be that old rear or the steering column or that set of heads you can't really sell ut know they work. All the costs would be divided evenly.

Once the sides are divided each "team" will vote on someone to do the work via there availablity, garage space and such other experience and willingness to participate. The member that is chosen to do the work would be exempt for the dividing of the part money because their time and effort in the car.

Then we can have a cruise event ( which we all enjoy anyway) and auction the car and donate the money to charity.

Team members jump state borders all the time and visit. In the event someone is in the area they can meet and help with the work or just hang and see how its going.

I think it would be a good bonding experience, among many other good things. And on top of it were keeping another 2 of our beloved A bodiers on the road for a lot cheaper then it would cost to do it by oneself and the money goes to a good deed. Then we can race them for s*its and giggles before we auction them.

I put a fair amount of thought into this so someone please let me know if you like this idea. Thanks

Sincerely
Don Russo

I like it.
Just think if we had two warehouses and all we did was ship and recieve chevelle parts AND built chevelles for charitable causes.
There has to be retired or semi retired TC members out there that would jump at the chance to be part of such an adventure. Right?
I'm not saying everyone would be willing to put fourth money on a coop, ( I would ).
You have to give a little, and the return would far outweigh the initial fee.
I think there is a lot of money that could be made here. Then just roll it back into the coop and build those cars.
I'm definitely not the buisiness guy of a deal like this. I got some neat ideas and a bit of money to help out.

LETS TALK ABOUT THIS!!!!
