What I believe you are talking about would be Tonawanda. Tonawanda was an engine plant. You'll notice on some big block engines, the little foil decal designating the Tonawanda plant. It was placed on the right hand valve cover. Just a name of the engine plant, that's all

Wow Rick, is that true? I thoought all big blocks were built at Tonawanda?

Tonawanda,Romulus,and Flint plants built engines.Tonawanda is the most popular that we here of.
