I have a 1965 and I bought a tach repleca set up from Hinshaws Chevelle that went in place of the clock and looked OEM. The tach I think was not a 270 degree face tach but sort of a sweep face tach that fit in the round hole. I was stock looking I remember that. I also got the replica set up that has gauges (oil pressure, water temp) instead of trigger lights in the third round hole in the dash.
Tachometer Options 64' Chevelle
My Speedometer has a ticking noise coming from it and I don't have a tach. Is there any company that makes a period correct looking speedo/tach combo replacement? Would like to stay as close as stock/original as possible. If a combo doesn't exist, I would remove the center clock(still works) with a tach guage. Again, I would like the replacement speedo and tach to look factory if possible.
